The goal of this project was to create a compelling brand for Daniel Parker Insurance. One that is recognized as trusted, transparent and strong. This was done through combining market research, color theory, typography and design.
This logo began with the icon development. The “d” and “p” of Daniel Parker were combined with the “i” from insurance into a single image. A lowercase “d” and “p” were chosen in this design to give it a more approachable, family-friendly feel.
The typography was chosen to support a strong, strait-forward look while the wider letter spacing displays the open and transparency of the business. The color ways of this logo are also shown below. The grouping of these colors ensures optimal legibility and should only appear in these combinations.
The primary color for this project is a rich green. This was chosen in order to establish a feeling of responsibility, trustworthiness and hope. An off white color is the secondary color of this color palette, bringing a light and transparent appearance. The accent colors below bring warm elements to the brand making people feel at home and comfrotable.
