The goal of this project was to create an elegant brand for String & Stone, a fine jewelry, hand-crafted company. This design began with the icon, a custom shape formed from two intertwined S’s. The “O'” in String & Stone is a pearl texture to make it stand out as the focal point. The word “String” is not capitalized, mirroring the string of a piece of jewelry. The G in “String” curls around the “O” in Stone, resembling the concept of an actual string being threaded through a bead. This brand was also built to be modular, as the O and colors can resemble the fine gems used in various lines that will be released.
