Project Objective

Kyle had a vision to give young men the opportunity to build something for themselves. But that started with building something “in” themselves. The Syndicate is about discipline, work ethic, overcoming obstacles and ultimately, about the commitment made to build a solid foundation for life as a young man. The brand had to convey elevation, but also detail; elegance, but also power; longevity, but also had to point toward the future. We conceptualized Syndicate by taking notes from “exclusivity” and the ideals behind the way a club or secret society might feel to be a part of. A “Syndicate” is a group of individuals or organizations combined to promote some common interest. The Syndicate had to feel like you were chosen to be a part of something “bigger than yourself”, yes, but really bigger than what you could do on your own.

The Syndicate logo is completely hand drawn and needed to be so in order to bring that very “bespoke” feel to the brand. The brand style was pulled from some of the longest standing fashion brands in the world. The shield and sword speak towards the daily war that must be waged against your mindset in order to attain the kind of success that legacies are built on. The roman numeral CLXXX (180), is a nod to the action taken to turning something around, in this instance, one’s life.
