The Reef Townhomes is currently one of 11 properties developed by Oak Properties. The REEF is also one of only 2 of the properties meant for residential living. Reef Townhomes resides on Aquarium Drive, thus the name. The objective was simple; to bring the visuals that reflected the name, location and community culture.
Reef Townhomes was already named when we took the project on, so the preexisting name made it a little more obvious on the direction to go. We still needed to make it eye-catching and wanted it to mean something in connection to being on Aquarium Dr., so close to the Oklahoma Aquarium. We were only asked to include one thing if possible. The shape of a whale tail. The whale tail was personal as it was the pendant that the Oak Properties CEO wore for as long as his son could remember. The coral piece was added as a decorative element and serves as a place to add a pop of color. The color palette was selected from the blues of the ocean and it’s inhabitants.
